Ha Long Bay ranks 2nd in world wonders voting

Vietnam ’s Ha Long Bay won second largest number of international votes over the past four weeks in the campaign voting for the world’s seven new natural wonders. The information was released by the NewOpenWorld on its website www.new7wonders.com on August 16.

Hanoi’s tourist festival scheduled for October

The Thang Long-Hanoi International Tourism Festival will run from October 2-5 at the Bao Son Paradise Theme Park. At a meeting with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on June 10, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang said that the event is not only part of National Tourism Year but will also celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
